Over the last few days, the Lord has been teaching me about trust. Every time I start to pray I get the same inkling "Trust in me". After all the works that you have seen and experienced God perform in your life, you need to move away from begging and wondering if God will do.. something anything. Move from the "maybe He can" to "Yes God, you can." Trust is expressing faith in God becuase you chose to remember what He is capable of doing from past experience.
That is what David called on when he said to Saul and his army in 1 Samuel 17: 37 concerning his ability to fight Goliath, " The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine."
Trust. I realized apparently it was everywhere I turned in the Bible. Psalm 91:2 "I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God: in him will I trust."
Proverbs 3: 5,6 Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.
Psalm 112: 1-10. v1 Blessed is the man that fearethe the Lord, that delighted greatly in His commandments. ....v7. His heart is fixed trusting in the Lord. His heart is established...
Trust in his love, power and strength.
